Hadn’t done this for a while. Had been with and around
people, who are important part of my life. Had forgotten my own self, who even
if planned and organized- always left a room to go the unchartered way. And in
the meanwhile, chose to agree that my personal space is limited to my group of
friends. As a result – stopped exploring MY CENTRE (as MF calls it to be). And
man, the realisation came in recently- when serious health issues helped me
rediscover the real me and drove me back to yesters when i had been a free
bird- curious about life and activities, wanting to delve deep into unknown,
meet un-thought off people at places not known earlier. While choosing routine helps
you get disciplined and make the most of what is available- it also ushers in
monotony that the pre-planned brings with itself. It is dynamism- which lights the spark. Time
to bounce back and start the unusual.....

Strangers without strangeness
Aint it easier to talk your heart out to strangers- who know
nothing about you, have no pre-conceived ideas about you, your behaviour and
your actions. Meeting people you don’t know, hearing them say things and open
up their private life as if you are a counsellor- the feeling is just
great. And it is truly said and
believed- the best you can help a person is with being a Listener. Advising is
the secondary part but you are half through the hearts of the person, as a
patient listener. All of us need EARS in those times, when we wish to talk
about our feelings, emotions, inhibitions, fear etc. And it’s not about having your
people around but about someone, who can lend an ear and help us vent. Glad to
be able to help people in this way :)

Teacher
The mode of deliverance in this field has also taken a turn
- from direct book readers to one aware of the surroundings and technology.
From those engaged in a monologue to those who believe in interaction. The
belief that student-teacher relationship is always one of a receiver and giver
has now changed to a symbiotic one. There are no qualms in admitting that even
teachers benefit from students of modern times. The evolution of teaching methodology
is also immense. Teachers today are mentors and guides who help students find
the way. They are also ones who try to understand the obstructions in one’s
path of learning and are willing to tweak their delivery. Using novel methods to
make the class more talkative to exercising restraint on the bullies, teachers
today are also heading towards a different direction- introducing different activities
as a part of curriculum- which make learning not only easy but one which is fun
and which has a strong recall value.

Quizzed
And
finally when the journey is over, it looks like a moment that has removed the
albatross off the neck. The outcome unsure but satisfaction of giving your
best- ample. The glow when the monkey has gone to other’s back…..
Talliiiii
When do you get Talli? How often do you get
Talli?
And my answer is no, never……
Today I want to get talli and have no
bounds and experience the feeling which I have not experienced before. I am
told that I will never be able to get sloshed if I think too much and have
control!!! While I am not sure if Talli
has anything to do with mental strength- after all every drunkard proudly
pronounces that he isn’t drunk. I feel it’s just a matter of understanding your
limits and not crossing them or it might be the moral responsibility that other
drunkard is to be taken care off…
Whatever it may be- I want to experience
not the ugly side but the happy side of getting drunk and see how I respond
(Laughing or Crying)
Surprises
They say “Grand gestures may light the fire
but small surprises keep it alive” but what if it is different from this?
Aren’t all of us fond of surprises at each
and every juncture of our life? But there are some Good Surprises which make us
feel that this is much more than what we deserved or gave the other person.
Then how do we deal with such surprises- do we accept them as a part of our
life or send them back or try returning the favour?
Ek main aur ekk tu
And when I decide to write after a long
time today, the best thing that I could think of penning down is my love for the
movie “Ek Main aur Ek Tu”. There is something very extraordinary about this
cult movie (in my opinion), which makes me watch this movie thrice a week (and I
am not kidding). I am sure writing about
it, won’t do right amount of justice to what this movie evokes in me- The true
self screened very well by the artistes.
The small unforgettable moments of wildness,
the unreasonable logic, the realistic situations, falling in some quirky
relationships with strangers, realization of self, times when we want to lose
out ourselves, small expectations from self and multiple from others, the
materialistic world which runs on money and sex and little bit of love. The perfection
in imperfection, the disguise in blatant happiness, the bottled up emotions,
the crossroads of liberated and overprotected families.
The best is the different climax which for
a change is not “Happily Ever After” but “Hope and Nothing but hope”.
People keep asking “What’s so special” but
some things are best when not expressed………….
