Thought.....

We all are so keen at looking exemplary performances and situations that we fail to appreciate for an expected job - done well. And this phenomenon is not just restricted to corporate life but also in our daily lives. While we have our own little ways to express and make our near and dear ones feel special, have we appreciated them enough for the small but cherishable deeds/moments? Have we ever tried to count our blessings- which are with us in the form of friends and family? How many times have we praised our mother for the regular supply of delectable food, our father for his selfless attempts to make our life run smooth? Have we ever thought of letting our friends know that how important and indispensable they are in our lives? Do we think of returning the cuddle to our beloved for the brief moments of wanting each other? Similarly, in our professional endeavours- we tag a person as an average, even though expected delivery has been met. What if the person has given his 110% to his deliverables? Why do we always look for beyond average performance? Why do also expect our mothers to cook new dishes and our father judged on his capability of providing new gizmos? We expect our friends and partners to stay by us in the trying times- but what about the life lived through them even when life is just normal?
