Rewarding Inconsistency

I sometimes find it very weird that, we reward only out of the box actions and pay zero importance  to consistency. And this is clearly visible in all walks of life. Let’s take an example of music industry- KK is one singer, who has given maximum hits and has an array of songs under his belt- whose recall value is the highest. Surprisingly he is one playback singer, whose vocal gift goes well with most actors and gives credence to their acting skills. But how many times do we remember him, when we mention about our favourite playback singers? Its only new noises and voices that get nominated for awards- even though they might last only few songs. While the era is to experiment and welcome the different but do we think of strong standing walls? And probably that is the reason why world now moves on "Use and Throw" Mentality.
